Bulgaria is more business friendly than Romania according to Forbes

According to this year’s ranking by Forbes of Best Countries for Business, Bulgaria has outpaced Romania in terms of most optimal conditions for business. Bulgaria ranks 49th between Saudi Arabia and Georgia, darikfinance.bg comments. Close to Bulgaria are Hungary and Belgium, taking the 46th and 47th positions, respectively. Turkey ranks 52nd, while Romania goes down to the 60th place among 141 countries, but the leader at the Balkan’s region is Macedonia ranking 37th this year. The ranking covers a wide range of factors, such as freedom of trade, financial freedom, bureaucracy and corruption, protection of investors, ownership rights, personal freedom, tax burden and labor productivity.
